Let’s make Incense Burners! 🌑

Let’s make Incense Burners! 🌑
A gentle pause for creativity, reflection, and making.
Join us for a slow and intentional creative gathering inspired by the fresh energy of the new moon. Through clay and connectivity, we’ll create space for reflection, presence, and hands-on exploration in an outdoor, desert studio setting.
We’ll begin by connecting with our signature Persian Love Cake and iced tea.
WHEN
Sunday June 14th 6:30 PM–8:30 PM
WHERE
Agave Pantry Backyard Studio
(Swan + Speedway Cross Streets)
What’s Included
During this two hour workshop, you will experience:
• Connection as a group
• An introduction to foundational hand-building techniques, including pinching and simple slab construction
• Guided instruction to create two incense burners
• Time to personalize your work with texture and subtle surface details
All materials are included.
After the workshop, your work will be carefully dried, fired, and finished. Pieces will be available for local pickup approximately 3–4 weeks after the class at Arizona Poppy Shop and will include a small bundle of Sonoran Rosie’s signature vetiver incense.
You’ll leave with handmade ceramic pieces and, hopefully, a renewed sense of connection—to your hands, your creativity, and the quiet rhythms of the lunar cycle.
• Clay can be delightfully messy, please wear comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting dirty.
Please note:
We will be meeting outside. Do bring a water bottle.
Because this is a small, intimate experience with limited space, all bookings are final and we are unable to offer refunds.
