One hummingbird hanging charm. 

Did you know Hummingbirds can hover, fly backwards and upside down? And their hearts beat at approximately 1000 beats per minute; they also cannot walk or hop but can shuffle. When the sun is just at the right angle, the gorget or neck feathers of the hummingbird glimmer. They are simply exquisite little bundles.

These delightful mystical birds stop by our desert town of Tucson during their spring and fall migrations. I consider them quite charming and found inspiration in creating hummingbird ornaments and charms with clay.
